Lord Shiva is the father of Yoga. Lord Shiva is also called Adiyogi Shiva, which means, ‘the first Yogi’. According to the scripture and its beliefs, Lord Shiva is the father of Yoga. According to a poem written at that time, Shiva had attained the level of complete knowledge about 15 thousand years ago.
